Regular events
St Michael's Farmer's Market
3rd Saturday of every month, 9-12.30pm
St Michael & All Angels with St Mark, Egerton Rd, Ashton, PR2 1AJ
Every month we have a stall where we sell a selection of homemade cakes and biscuits made by our volunteers and a variety of other items such as Fidget Diddies, bespoke bracelets, Blue Flamingo mugs and more. All sales go toward helping Blue Flamingo carry out its mission to support people in our local community, especially those living with dementia and their carers.
Special Events
Blue Flamingo @ the MET Tent
Tuesday 15 July, 1 - 3pm
St Bernard's Community Hub, Elswick Rd, Preston, PR2 1NT
For one day only, you can find Blue Flamingo at the MET tent! Everyone in the community is welcome to join us for our Drum & Sing session led by Jon Aveyard. We will have refreshments available, including a buffet lunch. There will be an opportunity for people to explore a variety of percussion instruments as Jon leads the group in finding a beat all their own! He will also lead us in a group sing-along.
This dementia-friendly event is open to anyone in the community, but advanced booking is required at visitpreston.com/whats-on/events-calendar/The-MET-2025.

Special Move & Dance Session
Tuesday 19 August, 1 - 3pm (no lunch buffet on this date)
St Michael's & All Angels Church, Egerton Rd, Ashton, PR2 1AJ
Helen Gould from LPM Dance will lead group in a fun and upbeat session with movement, dance and expression. This is an inclusive session which will cater to all abilities, including those who experience challenges with mobility.

2nd Annual Variety Show Fundraiser
Friday 19 September, 5 - 9.30pm
St Michael's & All Angels Church, Egerton Rd, Ashton, PR2 1AJ
We're happy to announce that we'll be hosting this fun, family-friendly fundraiser event again this year! This night of entertainment will feature some great acts which will lift the spirits and get you moving! In addition to music from some great local talent, we'll have a drinks bar, brew station, food and more. Why not come along and join in a night of fun - and bring some friends, too!
